MotoHood ("we", "our", or "the App") is dedicated to protecting the privacy of motorcycle club members and officers. This Privacy Policy describes how your information is collected, used, and protected when you use the MotoHood mobile application and related services.

1. Information We Collect

To provide motorcycle club coordination, voting, and communication, we collect:

Account Information: Name, email address, username, club affiliation, and profile photo when you register.
Club & Motorcycle Details: Motorcycle make, model, year, and club role (e.g. President, Vice President, Road Captain, Member) provided voluntarily for club rosters.
Club Content: Messages, ride event details, flyer images, and poll/ballot proposals created within your club.
Voting Data: Secret ballots cast during club elections and votes. Votes are recorded securely and aggregated anonymously or per club policy.
Device & Usage Data: Push notification tokens (via Firebase Cloud Messaging) to alert you to club events, announcements, and direct mentions.

2. How We Use Information

Your data is used strictly to power club operations:

Facilitating club communication, events, and group ride coordination.
Administering club dues status and democratic voting procedures.
Authenticating accounts and securing private club channels against unauthorized access.
Sending transactional push notifications (e.g., event updates, voting deadlines, chat mentions).

3. Data Sharing & Security

We do not sell, rent, or monetize your personal data. Your information is only accessible to members of your authorized motorcycle club based on role permissions (such as officer views vs. general member views).

We utilize industry-standard Google Firebase infrastructure (Firestore, Cloud Storage, Authentication) encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256).

4. Photos, Camera, and File Access

MotoHood requests permission to access your camera and photo library strictly when you choose to:

Upload a profile photo or club emblem.
Attach ride flyers or photos in club chat and event planning.

We do not access your photo library in the background or scan images without your direct interaction.

5. Account & Data Deletion

Under Apple App Store and Google Play policies, you have the right to request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time:

In-App Deletion: Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account.
Web Request: Visit our Support Page or email support@jippylong12.xyz with subject "Account Deletion Request". All personal identifiers, profile data, and session credentials will be permanently erased within 14 days.
